Resonate

By Susanne Raab

To resonate is:

- To produce or be filled with a deep, full, reverberating sound
- To evoke a feeling of shared emotion or belief

Resonance occurs when the speaker tunes in and connects with the frequency of the audience – that is to say connects with their Hearts and Minds.

It is that brief moment in time, when the audience is engaged and when their minds and hearts align with yours.

It is not enough that the audience hears the words being spoken, they must feel the message being communicated.

The message must resonate with the audience

It's how philosophies are adopted
It's how movements are started,
It's how ideas leave one person's mind, and move into the public forum, and ultimately, in small or significant ways, change the world.
It is how we become better people, and how the world becomes a better place.

It is not enough to have ideas. Ideas without a voice are impotent. Ideas that do not resonate whither. Ideas that are communicated in a manner that resonates with the audience are immensely powerful.

To resonate. That is why we are here.
