Table Topics contest to take place Nov 20th
The Club Table Topics contest will be held on November 20th. All members are eligible to compete.

Table Topics contestants will leave the meeting room during the contest and come in one by one. Each contestant will have up to 2 mins to answer the same Table Topics question. The winner and runner-up will represent the club at the Area contest in early 2025.

If you are interested in competing or would like to take on a contest role, please inform our contest organizer.

Club elections to take place Nov 27th
The current Club Executive term is coming to an end and it is time to elect a new team that will lead the club for the next 6 months (January to June 2025). Club Executive elections will be held November 27th.

The team will consist of the following individuals:

  1. Club President - leads the club, plans club activities, and chairs meetings
  2. VP Education - plans meetings and works with members to achieve their educational goals
  3. VP Membership - looks after guests, answers questions they may have, and handles membership applications
  4. VP Public Relations - manages our social media and handles guest inquiries
  5. Treasurer - manages the club's finances by collecting dues, paying bills, and keeping financial records
  6. Sergeant-at-Arms - prepares the room for meetings and brings meetings to order
  7. Secretary - maintains club supplies and takes minutes during Executive meetings
If you care about the club, want to play a role in the members' continuing success, and wish to take your personal development and leadership skills to another level, then you have what it takes to be a Club Executive. You will receive training for your respective positions.

If you would like to run for a position, please let the Elections Chair know.

Humorous Speech contest to take place Dec 4th
The Club Humorous Speech contest will be held on December 4th. All members are eligible to compete.

Humorous Speech contestants will deliver an original, humorous speech that is 5-7 mins long.

If you are interested in competing or would like to take on a contest role, please inform our contest organizer.

Holiday banquet to take place Dec 18th
The Holiday banquet will take place at Steamworks on December 18th. The meeting will include Table Topics in the first half and prepared speeches in the second half. Dinner will be served during the break. Please make plans to join us for this banquet. Guests are welcome.
